Just a few dates for your calendars:
- Wednesday, November 14 at 6 p.m. - RACE 4-H Planning Meeting. This is open to leaders, parents and youth. We will be reviewing the results from the online survey and planning events for 2013. We will be meeting at the Rowan County Extension Office, 2727 Old Concord Road, Salisbury.
- Monday, December 3 at 7 p.m. - South Central District Horse Council Advisory Meeting. This meeting is an online meeting. The website will be sent out closer to the date. Our voting delegates for the county are Ann Furr and Joey Bullock. We can have one more. If there is a youth interested in this position, contact Sara Drake at 704-216-8970 or sara_drake@ncsu.edu.
- Monday, January 14 - Pfizer Rep Workshop. More details to come. We will be meeting at the Rowan County Extension Office, 2727 Old Concord Road, Salisbury.

- Saturday, May 4 - South Central District Horse Show - Union County. To show in the district show, you must have your eligibility card. As of July 2011, before any youth can receive their eligibility card to show at the district show, they must:
- Have a 4-H Enrollment Form on File with the Extension Office 3 months before requesting eligibility card.
- Participate in at least four 4-H Activities, one MUST be horse related.
- Participate in at least one community service project (minimum of 1 hour of service).
