Spring Clinic Information!

Our R.A.C.E. 4-H Spring Clinics will be starting before you know it!  First up, on March 15th, is our annual Halter Showmanship Clinic with Robin Loven.  We will have two sessions, morning and afternoon with 10 horses per session.  Cost for the clinic is $10 per horse/handler combination.  Our next clinic will be the following weekend, March 22nd and that will be our Group Dressage Clinic.  There will be several sessions with 4 riders per session grouped either English, Western or Gaited.  Cost for this clinic is $10 per horse/rider combination.  Our Dressage Ride-a-Test will be held on Saturday, April 5th.  There will be 12 slots open.  Cost is $20 per horse/rider combination.  Both Dressage clinics will be taught by Lisa Wagner.  More information on all three clinics to come.  We are still working on a jumping clinic but it will not be until June or July.  All clinics are open to 4-H members first, then parents and leaders and if space permits, we then open them to the public.  We will begin taking registrations for all three of these clinics on February 15th.  Please start talking about these NOW!!!  All clinics are held at Ellis Park in Salisbury and require a negative coggins and a release form signed by the parent or guardian.  Leaders may not sign their members' release forms.  Here we go in 2014.....Year of the Horse!!!
