Walk-a-Bout Tour
R.A.C.E. 4-H has been fortunate
enough to receive free tickets to the October 11-12, 2014 Walk-a-Bout Tour Stop
at the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agriculture Center, 2900 NC Highway 125
South, Williamston, NC. The tickets are good
for both Saturday and Sunday sessions which run from 9am to 5pm each day. For more information about the event, please
visit www.walkaboutevents.com. Please also be aware that Williamston is
approximately 3.5 hours from Salisbury and you might want to consider staying
in a hotel if you plan on going to both days of the tour.
In order to receive your free
tickets please fill out the Ticket Request Form which can be found on the
R.A.C.E. 4-H Facebook page or the R.A.C.E. 4-H blog. Links will take you to the form. You must print the form out, fill it in and
drop it off or send it to Sara Drake, 4-H Agent, Rowan County 4-H Program, 2727
Old Concord Road, Salisbury, NC.
28146. All requests MUST be
received no later than September 15, 2014. A ticket will be needed for each adult and
child 13 and over. Kids 12 and under are
FREE and do not need a ticket. You will
receive an email letting you know when you can pick your tickets up at the
office. There are a limited amount of
tickets available. PLEASE do not order
more tickets than you will use. Tickets
should be used for Rowan County 4-H members, leaders and alumni and their
immediate families only.
This
is a wonderful opportunity for our 4-H family.
Please wear your 4-H t-shirts and make posters with your club name on
them to show our 4-H pride.
