March 24 - Safety Clinic with Dr. Tim Potter
Rowan County Cooperative Extension Center - 7 PM
Free and open to anyone interested in learning about safely working with and around horses.
April 4 - Trail Class Clinic - Clinician: Dr. Tim Potter
Bring your horse and learn to safely compete in trail classes.
Cost: $15 per horse & rider or $5 per auditor
Limited to 10 participants per session - Unlimited number of auditors
Session 1: 9 AM - 12 PM Session 2: 1 PM - 4 PM

April 7 - Horse Judging Clinic with Dr. Tim Potter
Rowan Cooperative Extension Center - 7 PM
Free and open to youth interested in learning about judging and oral reasons.
May 2 - Rowan County Open Horse Show
Ellis Park Event Center
Start time: 9 AM Gates open at 8 AM
Costs: $5 per class or $45 for 10 or more classes
July 25 * New for 2009 * GAMES DAY
This will be a fun show where participants will spend the morning and early afternoon competing in fun games with horses.
No pre-registration required. Games list TBA
Cost: $2 per game Max: TBA
Games: 9 AM - 1 PM Gates open at 8 AM

Horseless learning activities
September 1 - Careers in the Horse Industry
Rowan Cooperative Extention Center - 7 PM
Professionals in the horse industry will discuss
their careers and answer question from the audience.
Free and open to all who are interested in learning
more about careers in that involve horses.
October 3 - Clinic TBA - Clinician: Dr. Tim Potter
October 10 - Open Horse Show

November 7 - St. Jude Trail Ride
