
A Horse Safety Workshop will be held Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at the Rowan County Cooperative Extension Office, 2727 Old Concord Road, Salisbury, NC. Safety is the primary
concern in working with and around horses. This program will include all aspects of safety, including instinctive behavior and the effects of domestication, safety on the ground and safety when riding. Also included will be discussion of hauling and transporting horses safely, and the most common mistakes people make when working with horses.
