TRAIL CLASS CLINIC
Rowan Advisory Council for Equestrian (RACE) 4-H Clubs will host a trail class clinic that is open to youth and adults on Saturday, April 4 at Ellis Park Event Center, 2056 E. Ridge Rd. Salisbury, NC. Two sessions will be offered. The morning session will begin at 9 a.m. and wrap up by 12 p.m. and the afternoon session will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Bring your horse and learn how to safely compete in trail classes. This clinic will focus on acquainting your horses to trail obstacles seen on the trail and at the horse show. We will concentrate on desensitizing your horses and communicating with them in such a way as to decrease their apprehension of negotiating obstacles. The cost is $15 per horse/rider or $5 per auditor. Space is limited to 10 horse/riders per session. Please call 704-216-8970 by Thursday, April 2 by 5 p.m. to register.
