Results for May 5, 2012 R.A.C.E. 4-H Open Horse Show

Wow! What a wonderful day! This was one of the longest shows in the history of R.A.C.E. 4-H. We had fifty riders participate in the show. Most of the these riders are current members of equine 4-H clubs. It is wonderful to see the 4-H equine program growing in our community! Thanks to all of you leaders willing to dedicate your time and knowledge.

We had many new riders for this show, along with many "old" riders. It is always wonderful to see the smiles of accomplishment on each face, meet new friends, and reconnect with old ones. We had two new judges for this show, Angie Shearin and Mary Hunt. One of our regular judges, Amanda McGuire, judged the afternoon western and gaited classes. Thanks to all of you for your kind words of advice to the riders as they continue to improve their horse skills! Also, a special thanks goes to Dr. Ann Furr and the East Equine Explorers 4-H Club for their awesome flag and pledge ceremony!
