Come Join Us for "Horse-a-Palooza" February 15, 2014 from 1 to 4 pm

On Saturday, February 15, 2014, there will be a fun, non-competitive Horse Quiz Bowl and Hippology event at the Extension Service in Salisbury from 1 pm to 4 pm.  This day is designed to introduce 4-H members, leaders and parents to both Horse Quiz Bowl and Hippology.  Horse Quiz Bowl is just like a game show!  There will be buzzers set up and a moderator who will be asking questions about horses.  If you know the answer to the question, hit the buzzer!!!  Easy peasy!  In Hippology, there will be several stations set up with a series of questions or a problem you may have to solve.  You go from station to station until you complete the room and then go to the scorer’s table to have your papers checked.

Our “Horse-a-palooza Fun Day” will be a chance for our members, leaders and parents to have fun together and learn what these events are all about.  Later this year we will be holding “Horse Quiz Bowl School” for those members who would like to compete in a county horse bowl and hippology contest.  From there, members can move on to District and State competitions.  But, for now, let’s just all get together on Saturday, February 15 from 1 to 4 pm and have some fun.  We will have some refreshments available for everyone.
